Magic Duels: A Strategy Game Based on Magic: The Gathering

Magic Duels is a full version strategy game developed by Stainless Games for Xbox One. The game is based on the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering and is a sequel to Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers. Magic Duels features a story mode that follows five original Planeswalkers and over 1300 earnable cards.

The game features duels with real players or AI opponents, where each player has a deck of cards consisting of lands and spells. To cast spells, players need mana that lands produce. In story mode, players need to hold matches against an AI opponent using decks of five Planeswalkers. The game also includes several single-player missions and online duels, such as the Two-headed Giant mode where four players split into teams and compete with each other.

Magic Duels offers a simplified gameplay compared to the original card game, but still provides an enjoyable experience for fans of the Magic: The Gathering franchise.
